Quarterback

Dak Prescott
I am not totally in love with Prescott in this spot, but it's really hard to deny his ability. He is a one man do-it-all highlight reel. I expected more from him last week, but he still finished with over 30 fantasy points. You would think that maybe LSU is a tough matchup and to avoid Dak. The former may be true, but not the latter. Guys like Dak are essentially immune to matchups. That’s not to contextual pieces are irrelevant, but as we pointed out in our CFB Ebook, quarterbacks with his skillset deviate from the mean less than other style QB's. A tough matchup can really just mean Dak makes more plays with his legs. To support this approach let me point out that Dak only had 8 rushing attempts in an easy win last week, but last year against LSU he had 22 rushing attempts and finished with 33 fantasy points. Both teams were better last year and especially on the defensive side of the ball. If the Aggies stand a chance in this game, and Vegas thinks they do as only a four point dog, Dak will be called upon early and often. Money is relatively easy on Fanduel so getting money in on a guy like Dak is a safe place to start. His price is probably Draftkings is a little steep and pricing is tough there so it may be hard to play him on that site.

Vernon Adams Jr.
It's no easy thing taking over for a guy like Marcus Mariota, though that kind of torch passing is made a bit easier by playing in a system's like Oregon's. Now I'm not saying just anyone could do it, but I feel like I could put up somewhere in the range of 10 fantasy points a week just by taking snaps under center for this offense. Just imagine if I was an actual athlete? Adams spent his first start under Ducks' center doing just what Ducks do. He passed for about 250 yards and two touchdowns while adding another 94 on the ground. Expect more of the same in this game against Michigan State. Now understand that MSU is no pushover. They were one of the best defensive teams in this country last season. But the O/U is set at 68 in basically a pick'em and there will be points put up in the game. Even with Freeman in the backfield, more will fall on Adams to produce in this game and I like getting dollars in at QB with him.

Running Back

Leonard Fournette
At 6'1" 230lbs Fournette is a big bruising back who still possesses the game breaking speed and agility to take it to the house from anywhere on the field. Fournette is entering his Sophomore campaign as LSU's lead back and unlike last year he won't have the competition for carries. Leonard finished with just over 1000 yards and ten touchdowns on 187 carries. That’s certainly nothing to brag about, but like I said, LSU had a crowded backfield last year and Fournette was just a freshman playing in the SEC. That was last year and this year you can expect Les Miles to feed Leonard as much as he can handle. In their matchup last year Fournette ripped through the Aggie defense to the tune of 19/146/1 and this year Mississippi St. has lost a few key starters on defense so they may have even more trouble trying to keep him under wraps. The game has a modest total around 50 and I would like it to have been a bit higher, but price versus opportunity always reigns supreme. His price on FanDuel is oddly low and I suspect he will be a heavy start or at least he should be. You want to go with the flow here in cash games. $6900 is simply too low a price for what he is capable of doing. LSU's opening game was postponed due to inclement weather so dude may have a lil extra giddy up in his step Saturday night. Play him everywhere on Fanduel, but pricing is tough on Draftkings so it may be tough to squeeze him in.

Madre London
London is taking over for the departed Jeremy Langston and in his opening appearance faired pretty well, rushing for 59 yards and two touchdowns on just 13 carries. The Spartans had the game in hand pretty early on so Madre didn’t see much run in the second half. This week against Oregon one would figure he will see not only a full run, but plenty of work. Last year MSU had the Ducks where they wanted them, but they let em off the hook. They were who they thought they were and they let em off the hook. This year the game is in East Lansing and a fellow by the name of Mariota is no longer the Ducks quarterback. That’s not a slight on current Ducks QB, Vernon Adams, but let's just keep it real here for a moment, he's not Mariota. The Spartans have a few new starts as well, Madre London for example, but the home crowd should be all the boost they need to give Oregon everything they can handle. Michigan State currently sits as 3 point favorite with a total around 65, which is exactly the kind of games you want exposure to. Mr. London won't be giving up many carries and with the Ducks style of offense you can bet Madre will be used to control the game. I'm feeling a very heavy workload and dude should cruise to value. He is a must start on Draftkings and very much so in play on Fanduel.

Wide Receiver

Aaron Burbridge
Speaking of another Michigan State starter, how about Aaron Burbridge? Burbridge is taking over as the number one target for Connor Cook replacing last year's stud, Tony Lippett. Last week Aaron hauled in four passes for 117 yards against Western Michigan in what was an easy win for the Spartans. Much of what I mentioned above for London holds true for Burbridge as well. There are quite a few points expected in this game and as the unquestioned #1 he should see plenty of targets. His price is very reasonable and he stands just as good a chance as receiver to be the top fantasy point scorer. Since receivers can sometimes be a fickle creature, especially when it comes to touchdowns, if you can save a few hundred for a guy who stands just a good a chance to crush it as the elite guys, it’s a no brainer. Burbridge is a no brainer. I am playing him everywhere on both sites.

Ricky Jones
I'll be honest here, I couldn’t pick Ricky out of a crowd of one, but what I can pick are games that offer fantastic DFS opportunity. Indiana is a long way from their glory days. Which never really existed, but that doesn’t mean we should ignore them. Jones exploded last week for 186 yards and a touchdown against Southern Illinois. No other receiver had more than 64 yards. This week the Hoosiers of Indiana face off against Florida International in what could turn into another shootout. Indiana has a very capable offense and a very incapable defense which creates an advantageous scenario for fantasy awesomeness. Sudfeld is an experienced quarterback with a big arm. The senior is back after suffering a season ending shoulder injury in game six against Iowa ending his 2014 campaign short. Last week Sudfeld threw for 349 yards in a 48-47 shootout win. Florida International upset Central Florida so my guess is Indiana will once again be forced to put up 35+ plus points if they want to win. Jones will only do as well as his quarterback and thus far both guys are on the same page.

Tight End

Gerald Everett
Everett is a transfer from UAB since the Blazers decided to dissolved their football program. Starting in his first game with the under-appreciated South Alabama Jaguars Everett led all receivers with four grabs for 75 yards and a touch. In terms of Tight Ends, that’s about as good as it gets. His minimum price allows you to get out of the position spending as little as possible. Also, Everett steps into a situation where there is very little experience at wide receiver so he could be a regular feature in the passing game.
