Point Guards
Stephen Curry - FD 10100 DK 9400 DFSTR 9000
No Klay Thompson means a whole lot of Curry. With Klay off the court Curry's usage rate jumps significantly and I'd expect to see him put up some serious shots in this one. Though the Warriors have other offensive weapons, Curry is option A and this is a great spot for him. Atlanta is a good team meaning Steph will see his full run of minutes and should be raining threes. Needs to get hot to crush this price, but this is the game to do it.
Zach LaVine - FD 4200 DK 4000 DFSTR 3100
If Rubio sits again, Lavine becomes a fantastic punt play for the third game in a row. He logs big minutes at the point when Rubio is gone and I can't imagine the Wolves have a great deal of urgency in bringing Ricky back too quickly (though I've been wrong about that kind of thing before). Keep an eye out for this news leading into tip.
Reggie Jackson - FD 6200 DK 6400 DFSTR 6100
We saw what happens with Jackson with Monroe out of the lineup. Dude wants to put up shots. Expect more of the same in this game against Philly. Jackson has ballhog tendencies and that's kind of a great thing if you are rostering him in this game. Shoot Reggie. Shoot!
Rajon Rondo - FD 5900 DK 5900 DFSTR 5500
Finally did a couple of things the other night: played minutes and handed out assists. It sounds crazy, but these have been his two biggest problems lately for the Mavs. He just pulls so many no shows and gets buzzed off in run. If he is playing more than 30 minutes and handing the ball off then he is coming at a great price against the Magic.
George Hill - FD 6600 DK 6800 DFSTR 5600
He's a great point-per-minute player that just randomly will play like 27 minutes in a game. When he plays, he's been so solid. I just worry Frank Vogel sits him for too long a stretch.
Obviously consider Russell Westbrook but PG is loaded tonight. You can also look at Kyle Lowry.
Shooting Guards
DeMar DeRozan - FD 7300 DK 7000 DFSTR 6700
He's been logging major minutes and after a stretch of tough matchups is about to run into a team not terribly interested in playing defense. The T-Wolves allow about 7% more scoring than league average to opposing shooting guards and their two's are primarily offensive guys. Derozan should have plenty of opportunities in this one and is coming at a very affordable price.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - FD 4600 DK 3800 DFSTR 4400
Well we saw what might need to happen with the Piston offense when Monroe is out of the works. There are some shots that others will need to absorb. KCP is one of those guys. He saw his attempts spike last night and I can that being a continuing trend. The Pistons will need to find offense and the Sixers are happy to give up some offense. It's a match made in DFS heaven.
Kevin Martin - FD 6100 DK 5800 DFSTR 6000
I'm much higher on him if the Wolves' backcourt continues with the injury issues. He sees more run when Gary Neal isn't around so keep an eye out for that. If Martin is the primary shooting guard then he has more than enough usage to consider at these prices. Remember, shooting guard is a tough position tonight.
Consider J.J. Redick and Joe Johnson

Small Forwards
Justin Holiday - FD 3800 DK 3200 DFSTR 3000
It really looks like he is going to get the start and major run with Klay Thompson out of the mix because of injury. Holiday hadn't really done much before drawing the start the other night when the Warriors rested everyone. And then he broke out in a big way. I'd temper expectations a little because Curry will dominate much of this offense now, but Holiday is a great cheap option that should be basically in every lineup as long as he walks on to the court with that starting unit. (Note: He's a shooting guard on DK and is the top play there as well)
C.J. Miles - FD 4500 DK 4400 DFSTR 4200
I actually don't mind him as a play as long as he's starting for the Pacers. When he pushes up to 30 minutes he's more than viable at these prices. There isn't a ton of downside considering his role in the offense and there's always a chance he catches a little fire. Even against the Bulls, I'm still willing to roll his way in spots.
Chandler Parsons - FD 6400 DK 6700 DFSTR 5500
Orlando has struggled defending small forwards all season. They allow better than league average production to small forwards in nearly every category. Parsons needs to be scoring to really hit value, but his middling salary works nicely at a weaker position.
Luol Deng - FD 5800 DK 5200 DFSTR 5300
Played a nice game against Cleveland the other night and the minutes are more than there. The problem with Deng is that it takes him a ton of run to come close to reaching value. Him being on this list has more to do with how weak the position is than any real confidence I have in putting him in lineups. But this is a veritable wasteland.
Strongly consider Omri Casspi is Rudy Gay is out again.
Power Forwards
Anthony Tolliver - FD 3600 DK 3100 DFSTR 3200
Starting for Monroe last night all he did was put up a 15/7 night that more than paid the day. And that was against a stout Grizzly defense. Should be more of the same for Tolliver tonight as it looks like he's locked in for 30+ minutes now in the starting role. Has a much, much softer matchup against the Sixers tonight I suspect he'll be a highly owned player.
Thaddeus Young - FD 6000 DK 6200 DFSTR 6100
Been playing really well of late as his role in the starting unit has led to increased offensive opportunity. Young is a play mostly because his price hasn't totally caught up with his minutes in the starting unit. The Cavs aren't fantastic on defense against opposing power forwards though there is some blowout risk here.
Channing Frye - FD 3500 DK 3600 DFSTR 3800
He picked up a majority of the minutes last night when Tobias Harris went down with a sprained ankle. It remains to be seen if Harris plays tonight though I suspect Tobias sits. If so, Frye should be in line for the minutes and comes at rock bottom prices. He's anything but safe as there have been some disappearing acts because but at these prices it's tough to go wrong.
Blake Griffin - FD 9300 DK 9000 DFSTR 8200
Though if the injury situations work out the way I think, point guard is the place to spend Blake makes for an interesting play at power forward if one of the cheaper guys don't work out. He has mixed right back into the fold and is playing like his old self. He is just so much a part of the Clippers' offense that almost any matchup is a place he can hit value. He does everything.
Center
Enes Kanter - FD 6500 DK 6600 DFSTR 5600
With Ibaka and Durant out much of the offensive burden falls now on Westbrook and Kanter. Enes has been especially great of late averaging a 20/15 in 36 minutes over his last three games. Tonight he'll face a Celtics' defense that has allowed about 11% more scoring than league average to opposing centers this season. They've been a little better of late, but not to any huge degree. I love the way Kanter and he makes a top value option with OKC's current setup.
Gorgui Dieng - FD 6400 DK 5900 DFSTR 5400
This is mostly contingent on Pekovic sitting again, but if the other big dude is out again, then this big dude should be your play. Dieng can log huge minutes from the five and would actually have a nice matchup against a Toronto team that's below average against opposing centers. Check Pekovic's status closer to tip.
Brook Lopez - FD 6900 DK 6600 DFSTR 6600
I don't know what is going on with the minutes but I can see taking a stab on him in a GPP. If he can get full run then the offensive firepower he possesses is more than enough to hit value. It's just that his minutes have been all over the place lately.
Nikola Vucevic - FD 8400 DK 8300 DFSTR 7500
Our projections system really likes Vucevic's chances tonight against the Mavericks.
