Russell Westbrook - FD 11000 DK 11300 DFSTR 8300
His world domination tour continues tonight in Phoenix. What Westbrook has done in the last three games is almost beyond description. He’s averaged a 25/12/9 in that span while only playing about 30 minutes a game. That is something from a different planet. He’s borderline unstoppable and though Brandon Knight is a superior defender, I don’t suspect it slows Westbrook down too terribly much. He’s just on another level and that he gets points outside of just scoring means a good defender can’t keep him that far down.
Brandon Knight - FD 7400 DK 6200 DFSTR 6800
He’s going to get a decent amount of opportunity in the Phoenix offense. The three-headed guard monster is gone from this team and it’s now all about him and Bledsoe. Knight can create offensively and he’ll have rotations at both the two and the one. Westbrook is a dynamo but opposing point guards have gotten there’s against OKC. I think this position is all about these two guys tonight. I won’t be paying for either Curry or Irving.
Eric Bledsoe - FD 8400 DK 7900 DFSTR 7500
Even though it didn’t show a ton last night, I still think Bledsoe is going to get his shot up in this offense. As I said with Bledsoe, the Suns don’t have as many mouths to feed now and the offense is running through these two guys. Bledsoe can fill it up in a big way (though watch for a disappearing act here and there) and contributes in a number of different ways.
Dion Waiters - FD 4500 DK 4100 DFSTR 4000
I don’t love Waiters in this spot even though our system does. He’s gotten more of his minutes in OKC blowouts the last few games which has me worried if this game stays closer. I thought he’d see more run with Durant out, but it hasn’t happened. He’s playing with the second unit and I think if the game is closer he could get stuck. That being said, he’s cheap so the risk is less.
Consider Klay Thompson

Draymond Green - FD 6900 DK 6700 DFSTR 5900
Listed as a small forward on a lot of sites, but really laying the four for the Warriors, Draymond is in a great spot on this slate. Kevin Love and the interior defense out of this position are super suspect for the Cavaliers and Green could really fill it up tonight. The minutes need to be there, but I think they will be considering the potential game flow. He’s a guy I’m targeting all over the place and should be able to fill it up across the stat line.
Harrison Barnes - FD 4300 DK 3800 DFSTR 4200
This one is more about price and less about how much upside I think the guy has. Barnes is a fine enough cash play in that he sees around thirty minutes a game consistently and is able to do just enough to creep towards value. I doubt very much he breaks it out of the box in this one, so I don’t know how much I’ll run him in GPPs, but he’s safe all things considered.
Consider Andre Iguodala. And a quick note: I’d be hard-pressed to play Lebron on this slate. Tought to fit that salary considering I like Westbrook much, much more.
Markieff Morris - FD 6500 DK 6400 DFSTR 6100
The best midtier value on this slate from power forward. Markieff doesn’t have a fantastic matchup with Ibaka, but his price dictates a play here. This should be a crazy high-scoring affair played in the open court. That works to his advantage and he is a fantastic value at a weaker position. Money is going to be tough on this slate as unless there is a last minute scratch, you aren’t really grabbing anyone on the super cheap. Playing an moderately-priced Markieff helps in a lot of ways.
Serge Ibaka - FD 7200 DK 7900 DFSTR 6100
Has definitely benefited (from a fantasy perspective) from both the addition of Kanter and the subtraction of Durant. He’s seeing a slight uptick in shots though recognize that he won’t shoot >80% from the field like he did last game. I think Ibaka will be a big start and that makes sense against a Phoenix team that allows more rebounding than league average. I am just a little hesitant because there’s a chance his recent performance is a bit of an aberration.
Consider cheaper options like Tristan Thompson or Mitch McGary
The two choices here are so, so clear
Enes Kanter - FD 5800 DK 5900 DFSTR 5400
In his first three games with the Thunder he’s averaging a 15/10/2 in only 27 minutes because some of those affairs have been blowouts. This is fantastic production and if he rolls a whole game then he has the chance to crush this price. Playing in OKC (especially right now without Durant) is a fantasy boon for the dude. He has to be loving life. I love the matchup against Len and Phoenix and only Len himself gives me pause about this play.
Alex Len - FD 5000 DK 4900 DFSTR 3800
Like I said, he is the only reason I’m hesitating at all about Kanter. Foul trouble bit him early last night and that’s a real thing for the guy. But the minutes have been there now that Plumlee is gone and Len is the unquestioned starter. I like grabbing him off a bad game because others will be down on his production. Kanter isn’t a great defensive center and Len should be able to post numbers if he can stay out of foul trouble.
