Point Guard

Cory Joseph - FD 4700 DK 4700 DFSTR 3000
Should be a big punt play at close to the minimums. Joseph is filling in as Parker sits again tonight. In Joseph's last two games with Parker out he's averaging 16/6/6 which basically crushes these prices. I'm playing him in very format without hesitation and is probably the top value play on the board.

Kyle Lowry - FD 9300 DK 10200 DFSTR 7500
As we saw last night, teams can exploit Cleveland in some ways from the point guard position. Although the Cavs have gotten a little better on that end this season, but Kyrie really can't hang with many of the elite point guards. Lowry is just that kind of guy. Was a bit of an off game for the guy last night mostly because Lou Williams caught fire and the game just kind of went that way. I'm still very high on Lowry and hope that last night's problems keep his ownership lower tonight.

Brandon Jennings - FD 6500 DK 7000 DFSTR 6200
Hear me out here. In his last four games Jennings has shot an unbelievably bad 19% from the field. Now I understand there are some extenuating circumstances with his thumb that might be effecting his shot. But if you want to take a gamble that he could just be running bad from the field, then you could be buying low on the guy.

Russell Westbrook - FD 9800 DK 10400 DFSTR 8200
With news that Durant’s minutes will continued to be restricted, I think this keeps the door open as Westbrook for a potential value play. When Durant is off the court Russell has an insane 38.2 usage rate this season (limited sample). And it isn’t like Westbrook just takes off the time when Durant is around. I think we are still buying Westbrook on a discount. The Bucks are one of the better teams in the league at defending the point guard position, but I think Westbrook still outstrips that consideration.

Shooting Guard

Kobe Bryant - FD 8700 DK 9500 DFSTR 7700
He's struggled from the floor in his last 4 games which has kept his price down. But the minutes are still there and to some degree so are the shots. The Kings allow about league average scoring to the opposing shooting guard. I, and our system, very much think we are buying Kobe at a discount here. His shot volume has decreased some, but it's really the run bad with said shooting that's keeping his price depressed. This should be a high scoring game and I can see playing him in cash games because I think the floor is high.

Eric Bledsoe - FD 7500 DK 8200 DFSTR 7700
He continues to be a big cash game start with Isaiah Thomas shelved. The latter's injury has opened up the big minutes for Bledsoe and he's capitalized. Now know this, the Heat really depress scoring from the opposing shooting guard so I think you can temper just a little excitement when it comes to continue running Bledsoe out there. But as long as the minutes and opportunity are there for the guy then his floor is high enough.

Strongly consider Tyreke Evans and Giannis Antetokounmpo

Small Forward

Rudy Gay - FD 8300 DK 7900 DFSTR 7700
With Boogie sidelined for the foreseeable future this most definitely becomes Rudy Gay’s team. He instantly becomes the highest usage guy on the team. Though other guys see bumps as well Gay is the go-to guy for this squad and gets to face the Lakers in what should be a decently high-scoring game. There are other players to target in this one, but Gay is the cash game play at the small forward position. You will have to pay for him, but not out of the box like some of the superstars going tonight (of which Gay is not one, but he’s a tick below).

Kawhi Leonard - FD 7200 DK 7700 DFSTR 6200
One of the big benefactors of usage rates when Tony Parker isn't on the court is Kawhi. He becomes their primary player when he's on the court sans-Parker and is coming at a solid price against the Jazz. Granted Utah is one of the better teams in the league against the small forward. But I'm banking on Kawhi taking over parts of this game.

LeBron James - FD 10600 DK 11700 DFSTR 9500
He struggled last night at times against a slower Nets team that packed it in on defense. And Toronto could pose some of the same issues. But our system is really high on Lebron tonight as a top value play considering his salary. Look, he's Lebron of course so I don't need to go on about his virtues. I'm probably avoiding Brow tonight so Lebron could be the way to get some big money in if necessary.

Power Forward

Ed Davis - FD 4600 DK 4100 DFSTR 4600
Now that he's solidified (at least for the time being) as the starter, Davis has a ton of upside at these prices. In his last two games playing big minutes he hasn't exactly produced the way I thought when he grabbed the starter's role. This can happen when a guy goes from a stud on the second unit to running with the big boys. I'm not convinced he's a total lock to hit value, but I do suspect that the minutes will translate into his hitting value against the Kings.

Tim Duncan - FD 8000 DK 8500 DFSTR 7500
Ooh baby. I don't always play Timmy, but when I do I want it to be against the Jazz. Utah is allowing a whopping 20% more than league average scoring to opposing power forwards. They are getting killed down there. This is a solid spot for Duncan and I suspect he's getting full run with Parker out tonight. It's never easy speculating on the Spurs' rotations, but unless you hear otherwise, this is a great place to play the guy.

Derrick Favors - FD 7300 DK 7500 DFSTR 6800
Our system really like him tonight against the Spurs. I always get a little squeamish playing him because he seems to have a high bust factor. But he's been solid of late and there's a chance the Jazz can stick with the Spurs (gulp) tonight.

Center

Rough day at this position
Jordan Hill - FD 6500 DK 6400 DFSTR 6400
The Kings aren't the same without Boogie of course. Now they haven't been crushed down low the way I thought it would go down with the big man out (though admittedly I'm writing this at the beginning of the game against the Jazz so we can wait and see what Kanter does. I still like Hill's upside though I do have to say I'm concerned a bit about the minutes. The last few games have seen a reduction in his run and if that continues it crushes his value. I'm willing to risk it one more time out in a buy low situation but that might be it.

Anderson Varejao - FD 5000 DK 5200 DFSTR 5500
He just continues to go out there and safely py 4-5x on these prices. Never going to win you a GPP, ut Lebron and company are able to get him down low and he's snaking enough rebounds to keep his floor higher.

Consider Chris Bosh but I'm happy going cheap here tonight.
