Cheat sheets for fantasy college football on FanDuel and Draftkings

Listen - it'd be nearly impossible to create a whole projection system for college football, but Casey is willing to sell his cash game lineups through DFSR.

Quarterbacks

Kevin Hogan - FD 9000 DK 8000
QB is the toughest spot tonight by a country mile. Halliday has the best season numbers, but he hasn’t faced a defense quite like Stanford and his price tag is a little steep to find out the hard way. Hogan offers decent value against the 101st pass defense. Now that Tyler Gaffney is gone Stanford hasn’t found its running game. They haven’t exactly found their passing game either, but their best weapons are receivers. Hogan even can sneak a few rushing TD’s in every now and again. I don’t love it, but it’s the way I’m going. Vegas has Stanford scoring much more than their season average to-date and I'm willing to spend here considering Hogan's price is more in line with his season averages.

Running Back

Donnel Pumphrey - FD 8900 DK 7800
Pump was a major disappointment last week (only 94 yards rushing), but stay the course and give him another go. Trust me, he’s a stud and he gets another soft defense front to showcase his talents. On the season he's averaging over 112 yards and two TDs a game. Some of that is wrapped up in the 164/4 game against UNLV, but he still sees the majority of the carries and in this offense. It’s a short night and if Donnel goes off, like he’s very capable of doing, and you don’t have him in your lineups you’re surely sunk. New Mexico is ranked 123rd against the run and that’s against mostly inferior opponents so it’s a bad 123rd ranking. For me, he's a must start across the board. Go ahead, Get your Pump on.

Marteze Waller - FD 7200 DK 5500
Waller could be the bargain play of the day. UNLV is worse than swiss cheese against the run. The only rub is Waller and the Fresno offense are inconsistent. Regardless, Waller is my 2nd ranked back on the night. The Bulldogs should open some holes and Waller should find pay dirt. Play him with Pump as often as possible

Wide Receivers

Ty Montgomery - FD 7500 DK 7300
Basically another must start. Montgomery is the Cardinal's best playmaker and they get him the ball whenever possible. Defenses have been keying in on Montgomery since he is their best weapon so he has had some less than desirable stat lines. The misses have against largely string defenses. Washington St. can key in on Montgomery all it wants and they will still struggle with keeping under wraps. As I’ve mentioned before Montgomery does it all; run, catch, and return.

Dom Williams - FD 6000 DK 4900
Tread very carefully here. Williams' price tag makes him acceptable on DK, but according to Vegas Washington St. is going to score roughly half of their season average. Even if they don’t score the potential volume makes it reasonable that he pays this discounted price. His price on Fanduel is a little higher and you don't get a full point per reception so he is less reasonable there. All other WSU receivers should be strictly tourney plays.

Tight End

Taylor Barnhill
Austin Hooper
If I keep saying it maybe it will happen, but can Jace Amaro come back to college? Barnhill is the lesser of two evils. On DK Hooper is not worth the price difference, but on FD you have to play Hooper. TE is a disaster. Don’t be afraid to go with the cheapest guy if it means getting someone you really like in somewhere else.
