Total Bases

Aramis Ramirez
Ryan Braun
Going with a Brew Crew theme today against Eric Jokisch. It's not that the Joker's been bad in his limited run, it's just that he appears about average and I'm looking for the Brewers to take advantage on the better side of their splits. Aramis in particular has been nails against lefty pitching this season, rocking an insane 1.065 OPS and 193 WRC+ on the season. I'm loving a little mini-ScoreStreak stack (they exist) in the total bases category. Braun hasn't been his usual steroid-filled self this season (probably because he's not full of steroids) but I'm still buying here in a hitter's ballpark against a relatively untested pitcher.

Hits

Jose Altuve
Finishing off the year kind of how we've been doing it all season. And frankly it's paid off. Altuve has been among the best hitters in the league against lefty pitching as he's real tough to strike out (less than 9% of the time) and never walks (less than 6%). That leaves a lot of percents for putting the ball in play. He faces Jon Niese who pitches to contact and Altuve is a solid play for scraping out a multi-hit game.

Justin Morneau
I know the game isn't in Coors and he's a much better hitter there (everyone is), but I think you can slot Morneau in against a weak arm like Roberto Hernandez. Morneau is a big contact guy against righty pitching, putting the ball in play about 83% of the time. People tend to steer clear of the Rockies away from home, but I think he makes a solid play here.

Strikeouts

Corey Kluber
Though the Rays don't strike out a ton against righty pitching this season (only about 17% of the time), I don't see how you get too far away from Kluber on this slate. It's his last start of the season, a year that's seen him very much in the running for the Cy Young Award. He's been aces, striking out more than ten batters per nine, walking less than two and putting up an xFIP in the mid 2's. He ranks behind only Kershaw in pitcher WAR (and it's close). He's been awesome and is by far the best pitcher going on this slate for K's.

Drew Hutchison
Don't get me wrong, this play can go wrong in a lot of ways. But monitor the O's lineup leading into game time as there's a chance they don't have their A-team out there. Hutchison can dial up some big K games, but he can also get shelled. If you don't feel great about throwing Kluber in the 9K slot then Hutchison has some upside here.
