DFSR has partnered with ScoreStreak: a new, innovative style of DFS play. Gone is the salary finagling, mixing and matching, and hair-pulling that goes into setting lineups. ScoreStreak simplifies the process in an easy-to-use interface. Employing a prop-pick style, ScoresStreak leagues are specific outcome dependent with three categories: Total Bases, Hits, and for pitchers, Strikeouts.
Also, new users who deposit through DFSR will get an extra $10 to play with. And if you are new to daily fantasy football, make sure read our Free Football e-book.
Also be sure to sign up for a free 3-day trial to access the MLB and NFL system and spreadsheets that help produce our picks. And give ScoreStreak a try. You'll like it as much as we do.
Miguel Cabrera
Miggy prefers left handed pitching, but what he really prefers is plain bad pitching. He'll be facing some of that in Trevor May. I don't want to give away May's most outrageous stat, but I'll start you by saying he's given up 54 hits in 39 innings this year. Oh man, can't wait for the big reveal!
Freddie Freeman
Not a classic total bases play, but I actually love Freeman in the 2nd slot for his doubles potential. With 64 doubles+triples+homers, Freeman is as likely as anyone to rack up 2 total bases or more when facing a right handed pitcher. At this stage in his career, Volquez is essentially a pitch to contact guy. I'm feeling Freeman.
Victor Martinez
Ian Kinsler
So, it's the end of baseball season, and your eyes are beginning to glaze over. You're tempted to be wooed into the relatively easier schedule of daily fantasy football season, and try to make your millions playing this crazy game just once a week. You might miss a thing or two, you know, here or there. Here's a thing you may have missed: Trevor May has literally an 8.39 ERA this season. That is to say, he is giving up almost a full run per inning. So, that strikes me as a good guy to stack hitters against. Just a hunch.
Max Scherzer
Sometimes, you have to set match-up aside and just go for the big guns. The big guns in this case belong to one Maximum-Maximillian-Maximus Scherzer. So, the Twins aren't a terrible offense necessarily, but they do strike out the 8th most in the league. This should Scherzer a chance to shake what his momma gave him, and he's by far the closest thing we have to a "good bet" to hit the 9 Ks threshold.
Gio Gonzalez
Gio continues to hum along at a K per inning, and while the Mets are essentially league average when it comes to striking out, they are considerably worse when it comes to actually hitting the ball. They've been a bottom 3 wOBA team all season, and even with his wildness, Gio should be able to work deeper into the game and put together a solid outing.
