Quarterbacks

Jake Waters - FD 8100 DK 8400
There are really only two ways to go here on such a short slate; Waters or Marshall. Water is life's foundation so lets go with K-State & Jake. Outside of Tyler Lockett, State doesn't really have many weapons so Waters is forced to do more. He has 37 carries and four rushing TD's through two games. I do feel Auburn is the better team obivously and Marshall is the better QB but hear me out a little. K-State is good enough to put up a fight (possibly win) so Waters should do enough to cover your bet. Also, the difference in salaries between the two quarterbacks may have a significant impact when filling out the rest of your lineup. It's a very close call but I think the lineup flexibility Waters offers you ultimately makes him the better play even if Marshall is the favorite for more raw points.

***Whitmer is easily the best cheap option

Running Backs

Cameron Artis-Payne - FD 8700 DK 6900
This one isn't close. At all! Auburn runs the ball and runs it well. Cam is the lead back. That's even a better match than Brady and his Uggs (it's still funny). Seriously though, it really isn't close. Payne has been a total beast in the early going to the tune of almost 300 yards and four scores. Auburn had an extra week preparing for this game so they should be well rested. Its on the road and the Wildcats are feisty, but the Tiger ground game is awesome and Artis-Payne is worth it in this one.

Wide Receivers

Tyler Lockett - FD 8200 DK 7100
Okay so, lets think about this one. Auburn only runs. UConn is the epitome of fantasy middle class, and South Florida is allergic to points. Lockett is actually a gifted athlete and hands down the best receiver option. He's very capable of delivering a monster game and also a total dud. He's expensive too. Here's the rub. If K-State has any chance in this game they need to stretch the field with Lockett and get him the ball in space. He may come up missing his price, but if you fade him and he goes off you're sunk. Better chance he goes off than lays an egg.

Geremy Davis - FD 6100 DK 6700
Deshon Foxx - FD 5400 DK 4300
Look, one of the receivers from Auburn is going to catch a 70yd TD and have a good night, but good luck trying to figure that out. The only other options are the duo from ESPNville. The Huskies pass more than they run and both receivers are very capable of getting the job. Davis is the more consistent of the two. Keep expectations reasonable, but South Florida is one of their weaker opponents thus far so maybe the best is to come.

Tight Ends

Is pretty much a total toss up. Mike McFarland is a solid option if he plays. Sean McQuillan is the other way to go.

Coming soon, DFSR and CasCarruthers will be offering some new CFB Cheat Sheets along with a chance to play some of the lineups we roll out every week . We hope to start that service this coming weekend. In the meantime, here are a few of the lineups we'll be running for this Thursday slate. Good luck out there.
