DFSR has partnered with ScoreStreak: a new, innovative style of DFS play. Gone is the salary finagling, mixing and matching, and hair-pulling that goes into setting lineups. ScoreStreak simplifies the process in an easy-to-use interface. Employing a prop-pick style, ScoresStreak leagues are specific outcome dependent with three categories: Total Bases, Hits, and for pitchers, Strikeouts.
New users who deposit through DFSR will get an extra $10 to play with. We are putting in picks every night and giving you some of our top plays each day. Two are on us, the third is all you. Or go your own way. As always, if you are new to daily fantasy baseball, make sure read our Free Baseball e-book. It contains one mistake that basically everyone in the daily fantasy baseball industry is making!

Mark Trumbo
Nolan Arenado
I'm doing some of these writeups together today because the considerations are similar between a few dudes. Arenado and Trumbo come in on the top of our system for total bases today because they both are playing mediocre (or worse) lefties in a great hitter's park in Chase Field. While it's no Coors, the park does boost power in all directions and both these guys could be in line for solid games. Arenado's been particularly lethal against lefties this season with an OPS creeping toward 1.000 while Trumbo's .855 OPS is solid with a a Babip dragging it just a little. These guys are one and two on my list by a wide margin.
Jose Altuve
A guy that could near the top of this list almost on a daily basis. He just makes so much freaking contact against righties and lefties, along with some speed and all of a sudden he's a dude leading the league in hits this season. Been a little lucky along the way, but that's fine. His results are more than enough to get him in there for your hits category against Miles Mikolas.
Danny Santana
This guy hates taking walks, which is actually a good thing in this format. I don't want my hits guys getting free passes. I want them swinging away. And I definitely want them hacking against guys with low K rates. Santana against Tillman fits the bill. The latter only strikes out six batters per nine while Santana has a crazy low 3% walk rate against righties. Look for him to have the ball in play from the leadoff slot.
Stephen Strasburg
Zack Greinke
Two other guys I'm pairing together here because the considerations for both are very similar. They are both power pitchers with some question marks. Greinke's been dealing with some possible elbow issues and has seen a drop in his K's over the last couple of games. That's a bit of a red flag. Meanwhile Strasburg's K's have been there, but he's gotten blasted in a few games which brings into question his consistency. He is also a much worse pitcher on the road. But both of these guys are by far the best pitchers on the late slate, so I think we are stuck with them for better or possibly worse.
