DFSR has partnered with ScoreStreak: a new, innovative style of DFS play. Gone is the salary finagling, mixing and matching, and hair-pulling that goes into setting lineups. ScoreStreak simplifies the process in an easy-to-use interface. Employing a prop-pick style, ScoresStreak leagues are specific outcome dependent with three categories: Total Bases, Hits, and for pitchers, Strikeouts.
New users who deposit through DFSR will get an extra $10 to play with. We are putting in picks every night and giving you some of our top plays each day. Two are on us, the third is all you. Or go your own way.
As always, if you are new to daily fantasy baseball, make sure read our Free Baseball e-book. It contains one mistake that basically everyone in the daily fantasy baseball industry is making!
Also be sure to sign up for a free 3-day trial to access the MLB system and spreadsheets that help produce our picks.
And give ScoreStreak a try. You'll like it as much as we do.
Miguel Cabrera
Ian Kinsler
The Rockies send out the next in their never ending stream of awful left handed pitchers - Jorge De La Rosa. He's allowed a .352 wOBA (and an .810 OPS) against all right handed hitters this year, and Cabrera and Kinsler are a cut above "all right handed hitters." Both of them can absolutely destroy any left handed pitchers, and De La Rosa is a heck of a lot worse than most left handed pitchers. You can make a case that Kinsler is a safer hits play than total bases play, but if all you need is 2 TB from him he seems like an excellent guy to throw out there.
Adrian Beltre
Beltre has a most favorable draw today - the young and raw Trevor Bauer. Beltre is a terrific hits play because of his high batting average and low walk rate, and while he'd prefer to face a lefty, he is actually faring better against right handed pitching this season.
Robinson Cano
I went back and forth on this one quite a bit, but ultimately landed on Robinson Cano. Here's the scoop: Chris Tillman has struck out less than 6 guys per inning, and Cano is an awfully tough guy to walk. While Cano hasn't had much of a season by his standards, he can still barrel up a mistake, and Tillman is more than prone to making them.
Yu Darish
Stephen Strasburg
There's no discussion as to whether these guys should top your ScoreStreak team's K picks today - the only discussion is around who should come first. Me? I'm going against the grain and going with Strasburg. The Phillies have struck out the 12th most in the majors this year, and the Indians have struck out the 23rd most. Strasburg's been going deeper into games recently, too. I think the difference between the two could be the difference between getting the full allotment of points from your K picks today.
