DFSR has partnered with ScoreStreak: a new, innovative style of DFS play. Gone is the salary finagling, mixing and matching, and hair-pulling that goes into setting lineups. ScoreStreak simplifies the process in an easy-to-use interface. Employing a prop-pick style, ScoresStreak leagues are specific outcome dependent with three categories: Total Bases, Hits, and for pitchers, Strikeouts.
New users who deposit through DFSR will get an extra $10 to play with. We are putting in picks every night and giving you some of our top plays each day. Two are on us, the third is all you. Or go your own way.

Alex Rios
Adrian Beltre
I’m going with the all teammate edition of this ScoreStreak picks today. These two guys face low K guy T.J. House and both are among the dominant lefty platoon split hitters in all of baseball. Their stats are sick against lefties with the OPS’s (Rios 1.046, Beltre .918) out of the box and only backing up their historical averages. T.J. House isn’t the worst pitcher in the world. But he sure isn’t good and since he can’t generate many swings and misses, the upside of both of these guys is pretty great. I’ll have them all over the total bases category and both top our system in terms of upside today.
Miguel Cabrera
Ian Kinsler
Continuing the teammate theme, these two guys yet again draw a lefty from the Rockies. I wrote about this in our main picks article, but it’s getting a little sill about how I spend an entire series writing about the righty batters from whatever team is facing the Rockies. Colorado just runs out a who’s who of bad lefty starters and theymake such juicy matchups for the righty opposition. Miggy and Kinsler top the list here and should have the ball in play against Matzek.
Homer Bailey
Real tough day to chase K’s. I won’t be playing anyone in my nine K slot with any great hope. These plays are more for the middle of the pack and honestly, even they don’t excite me to any great degree. Bailey is interesting mostly because the Marlins K so much against righty pitching. Their 24% strikeout percentage is among the highest in the league and they rank in the middle of the pack in terms of team wOBA. Bailey isn’t exactly Bob Gibson in his prime, but he should be able to get a few swings and misses today.
Hyun-Jin Ryu
Another interesting play though this one seems a bit more fraught with peril. Ryu’s been getting the K’s working this season, striking out more than eight batters per nine. And the Cubs strike out more than a quarter of the time against lefties. But they also spend the rest of their time mashing southpaws and rank in the top five in team wOBA. It’s risky for sure, but on a tough day I’ll take plays against the teams who strike out the most.
