Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Quick Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftStreet 4/20/14

Some quick picks for tonight's games, mostly focused on FanDuel pricing.

Quick note about NBA playoff DFS. Gone are the Sixers, Bucks and Lakers of the world to feast on. Only the good teams are left. And the superstars are priced accordingly. The margins are thin here. Tread carefully.

Point Guards

Mike Conley
My original pick as a top PG play remains intact going into tonight's game against OKC. Conley has been able to really exploit the OKC defense and seen his assist totals hold higher than his season average. I don't think these numbers are outliers. It stands to reason he would see more opportunity against Westbrook and company.

CJ Watson
I am going cheap here with this second PG and hoping he sees the same minutes bump from game two. There's reason to suspect he will based on Vogel saying he'd run more two-PG sets and the Pacer's success in the second game.

Shooting Guards

Tony Allen
Probably won't see the 4 steal game again, but I am huge fan of him playing 30+ minutes in each of the first two games. That kind of volume alone will pay his prices. In the mid 4K range, this kind of run is hard to pass up.

Klay Thompson
Oh please, please, please get hot Klay. I think it's bombs away tonight for Thompson and it is simply too difficult to trust Lance Stephenson at around the same price, though I'd throw in Lance in a GPP because he does have some upside. But I like Klay tonight.

Small Forwards

Paul George
Sticking by my original recommendations here as well. I loved George going into this series and he's been awesome from an individual standpoint, averaging 26/10 in the first two games.

Harrison Barnes
The second small forward spot is tough so I'm going cheap and hoping for thirty minutes from Barnes. He has definitive upside at a reduced price and offer the outside chance that he knocks down shots to go along with rebounding potential.

Power Forwards

Blake Griffin
I thought it before the series began, and I'll stick by it. Blake still has among the best matchups in the playoffs for his skill set and the opposing defense. The foul trouble in game one bit him but he responded in game two with a 35/6 effort that paid the day. For the money, I'm rolling him again.

David Lee
Is really underpriced considering he is still the starter and has significant rebounding upside against the Clips. With the game at home in front of what should be a jacked up GSW crowd, he comes at a discount. The Clips haven't been great against opposing big men this season and I like the upside on Lee's price.

Luis Scola
Think last game was a bit of an aberration, but the Hawks do struggle with opposing big men (someone tell that to Roy Hibbert). Scola is a GPP play but don't necessarily expect the same scoring output. But based on his success in game two, I think you see more sets to exploit his mismatches.

Centers

Deandre Jordan
In terms of cash games on FanDuel, there really isn't another choice. I wouldn't risk it on any center from any other team if I'm looking for safety. Jordan is basically it. He's had nearly identical games in the first two of the series. Golden State will continue to struggle with his rebounding inside, though frankly, they've neutralized him thus far considering there's no Bogut here.
