Point Guards
Jerryd Bayless - FanDuel $4,300 DraftKings $4,100 DraftStreet $8,605
Looks like Rondo will sit out tonight on the tail end on a back-to-back. Bayless should step into the PG role, although that might go the Phil Pressey with Bayless remaining at the two if Bradley sits again. Monitor this situation, but both guys make strong plays tonigt.
Shaun Livingston - FanDuel $4,800 DraftKings $4,400 DraftStreet $10,035
We recommended him yesterday and he crushed it against Detroit. Wish I had run him more. Livingston can just do a little bit of everything and that's what you want against Philly. Sixers let up a ton of points and that's why you'll see a bunch of Nets here today. That being said, Philly has been a bit better of late so their opponents don't get the crazy multiplier we're all used to.
Greivis Vasquez - FanDuel $4,300 DraftKings $4,700 DraftStreet $7,808
If Lowry is sitting again you can fire Vasquez off again tonight. Had a ho-hum game yesterday but that was against Indiana. Milwaukee is no Indiana.
Shooting Guards
Joe Johnson - FanDuel $6,300 DraftKings $5,800 DraftStreet $11,284
Sixers. What else do you need to know?
Victor Oladipo - FanDuel $6,600 DraftKings $6,500 DraftStreet $11,112
I like my Oladipo's to have about thirty minutes a night to hit value. That's how I like them and you can't talk me out of it. His minutes have fluctuated a bit, he got them last night, but they aren't set in stone. On a shorter night though, he makes a decent value play against the T-Wolves.
Gerald Henderson - FanDuel $5,300 DraftKings $5,300 DraftStreet $9,028
Cleveland blows against shooting guards over the short term and are below average for the season. Henderson is in the lower/ mid tier value range. Use him to round out a lineup if the money gets tight.
Small Forwards
Paul Pierce - FanDuel $5,100 DraftKings $5,700 DraftStreet $10,761
Pierce is a guy who seems to play lights out in the first quarter and disappear later. He's had some games that made me think he'd go for 50, only to disappear. Though the system likes him in this spot, I'm worried he doesn't see a full run if this game gets even a little out of hand.
Jeff Green - FanDuel $5,700 DraftStreet $9,904
Yeesh, small forward is rough tonight, hence the Jeff Green mention. Detroit lets up about 10% more scoring than league average to opposing small forwards. Green is a risk but you can give it a whirl in a GPP.
Jeff Adrien - DraftKings $3,800
Still in punt price range.
Power Forwards
Power forward is about the worst I've ever seen it. I almost can't make a pick. Tempted to just write "skip". It's really rough. For now, I'm only throwing out one name.
Greg Monroe - FanDuel $8,200 DraftKings $7,800 DraftStreet $14,428
This is the only guy who gets consistent minutes that our system. Everyone else is in a time share, or stinks. Boston allows a bit more than league average scoring to opposing power forwards. Not a great play by any means, but we need to work with what we are given.
Centers
Jonas Valanciunas - FanDuel $5,500 DraftKings $5,900 DraftStreet $11,615
With Amir Johnson out last night, Jonas crushed it, scoring more than 20 and paying his salary easily. Tonight he faces up against the Bucks, who are below league average against centers. Just need this to stay close-ish and Valanciunas should have no issue paying off these salaries with his recently increased minutes.
Henry Sims - FanDuel $5,700 DraftKings $4,700 DraftStreet $10,687
A great deal on DraftKings, Sims has been a bright spot ever since the Sixers jettisoned a large part of theur "talent". The Nets are playing without a traditional center and have been allowing 15% more rebounding than league average to opposing centers.
