Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks for DraftKings and DraftStreet 3/13/14

On Thursdays we've vowed to keep it easy, keep it simple and get you the best plays with little muss or fuss. Today is especially easy: the Lakers are playing. Meaning you can target everyone playing the Lakers. On short nights I don't think it ever makes sense to fade a particular matchup because of potential blowout. Here are the guys we are targeting for a short slate of Thursday games.

Point Guards

The top point guard play by a country mile. Russell gets the uptempo Lakers and I am getting him into lineups any way possible.

If the money works he's the guy I get in mostly because his minutes are there and he's one of the few Bucks who can dribble.

The other guy on the Bucks who can dribble. I guess Ramon Sessions can as well, but I wouldn't play him.

 

Shooting Guards

Super sick price on DraftKings. Firmly in play on DraftStreet. Carroll isn't necessarily the safest guy in the world, but on a short night he is a great start.

If he's still the starter, go for it.

Wesley Johnson - DraftStreet $9,263
He's the way to go instead of Kelly on DS when you're looking for a few mid-tier/ cheaper options.

Punt type play if you want.

 

Power Forwards

He is the top play at PF, but if money is a concern he is the Thunder player I'd get away from.

A center on DraftStreet and in play there, but if you are looking to diversify your portfolio away from OKC go for it.
