POINT GUARD

Mario Chalmers - FD 5000 DK 5900
Opponent - HOU
FD Proj. Pts - 31.17 DK Proj. Pts - 32.56
Chalmers is a solid play should Mike Conley not be able to suit up against the Houston Rockets. The Rockets are in the bottom 3rd in defensive efficiency but have actually held point guards to among lowest fantasy point totals in the league. Chalmers should see Patrick Beverley most of his night and has been more than worth it at these prices.

Brandon Knight - FD 6800 DK 7300
Opponent - IND
FD Proj. Pts - 35.11 DK Proj. Pts - 37.36
Knight has been the subject of trade rumors, which is one of the burdens of being a good player. The former Kentucky product has put up 21.6 points and 6.2 rebounds a game this season. His solid overall game should provide a tough challenge to Indiana and George Hill specifically. He's one of the few Suns with consistent minutes at this point even though Hornacek has said he might work to find more consistent rotations.

Russell Westbrook - FD 10900 DK 10700
Opponent - MIN
FD Proj. Pts - 49.41 DK Proj. Pts - 51.19
Westbrook who is not the only MVP candidate in his locker room has continued to dominate night in and night out. He is currently 2nd overall in player efficiency, trailing only Stephen Curry. Ricky Rubio will be the next contestant to try to slow down Westbrook. Do not expect him to be successful. The Timberwolves are among the worst in defending point guards in fantasy scoring.

SHOOTING GUARD

Devin Booker - FD 3900 DK 4900
Opponent - IND
FD Proj. Pts - 19.66 DK Proj. Pts - 22.38
Booker has come on during his rookie campaign. Over the course of the season, he has averaged just over 7 points and 18 minutes a game, but over the last 5 games has seen his playing time (and points) nearly double to 15 points and 34 minutes per contest. Booker will see mainly Monta Ellis on him, and his height advantage over Ellis should help Booker have a strong outing.

Arron Afflalo - FD 4700 DK 4900
Opponent - BOS
FD Proj. Pts - 23.56 DK Proj. Pts - 25.44
One of Afflalo’s worst games this season came against the Boston Celtics. The 8th year guard only posted 4 points in 33 minutes against the C’s. He's a factor at shooting guard on many nights because the minutes are set in stone and there really isn't anyone else bumping up against him for playing time. But he's scoring dependent and that's a tough one in cash games because if he's dry from the field then you are in trouble.

Eric Gordon - FD 4800 DK 4800
Opponent - LAL
FD Proj. Pts - 23.03 DK Proj. Pts - 25.71
Gordon has been solid this year for New Orleans, scoring right around his career average, dropping 15 points a game. Gordon could be looking forward to Tuesday's matchup against the Lakers who are the worst defensive team in the league. Add to the fact that the Lakers give up more fantasy points to shooting guards than any other team, you could see Gordon have a big night in Tinseltown.

SMALL FORWARD

Paul George - FD 9000 DK 9100
Opponent - PHX
FD Proj. Pts - 40.74 DK Proj. Pts - 43.44
George is making his nightly case for second or third in the MVP voting, dropping 25 points and 8 rebounds over his last 5 games. Coming off a devastating injury last year, George has returned to his all-star form. Look for George to have a good night against PJ Tucker and the Suns. Phoenix is 7th worst in defensive efficiency and 6th worst in fantasy points defense against small forwards.

Stanley Johnson - FD 3900 DK 4200
Opponent - SAS
FD Proj. Pts - 17.59 DK Proj. Pts - 18.7
If Marcus Morris cannot go against the Spurs, a strong play could be Stanley Johnson. The rookie from Arizona has been mostly quiet but is getting more and more playing time and getting better with every outing. Johnson’s freakish athleticism should provide a high floor. He played a ton of minutes last game and was serviceable. I'd go back to him in a second at these prices.

Kevin Durant - FD 10000 DK 9800
Opponent - MIN
FD Proj. Pts - 44.85 DK Proj. Pts - 47.55
Durant has played like...Durant this season. The former MVP is 3rd in overall efficiency and is dropping 26 points and 7 rebounds a night. Look for Durant to have a solid game against the Wolves and Tayshaun Prince. Prince was once an elite defender but will likely struggle to keep up with Durant. It's a fine enough strategy, in the right matchup, to just pair Durant and Westbrook together in cash games. They dominate so much of the Thunder production (and the OKC second unit is so bad) that having them together gives you a real high floor.

POWER FORWARD

Anthony Davis - FD 10400 DK 10500
Opponent - LAL
FD Proj. Pts - 50.6 DK Proj. Pts - 51.39
Davis hurt his back last week and sat out last Sunday's game against the Clippers (something everyone in the DFS world knows all too well). Because the Pelicans do not have to leave LA for their next game against the Lakers, there is a possibly that Davis could return. When Davis plays, he is a top 10 player in the league, currently 6th in overall efficiency. Buyer beware however, Davis could re-injure his back if he does play and this guy is seeming more and more like he's made of glass.

Ryan Anderson - FD 5500 DK 6500
Opponent - LAL
FD Proj. Pts - 27.28 DK Proj. Pts - 30.01
If Davis can’t go, Ryan Anderson is a good play to consider. Anderson averages 16 points and 6 rebounds a game. Plus he gets to play the league’s worst defense. Anderson could easily best his season average if he starts. Randle will likely guard him as well. This is a must start of Brow is on the shelf.

Kristaps Porzingis - FD 6300 DK 6900
Opponent - BOS
FD Proj. Pts - 30.34 DK Proj. Pts - 31.39
One of the leading candidates for Rookie of the Year has been Porzingis. He is 3rd among rookies in scoring, and 2nd in rebounds. The Latvian center has notched a solid 17.8 points and 7.8 rebounds a game. Look for Porzingis to have a good night as he averages nearly 4 points more with one day of rest versus having more or less rest. Boston isn't great defending on the interior and Zinger's price is very much in the value zone.

CENTER

Kelly Olynyk - FD 4600 DK 5100
Opponent - NYK
FD Proj. Pts - 29.19 DK Proj. Pts - 30.99
Olynyk has put up 11 points and 6 rebounds a game in just 25 minutes per game. The former Gonzaga standout should be a solid economical value at center as his minutes have increased as the season has gone on. He's in the starting five right now and playing well enough to stick. The price is coming up incrementally, but the minutes are there right now.

Robin Lopez - FD 4500 DK 5000
Opponent - BOS
FD Proj. Pts - 26.01 DK Proj. Pts - 26.4
Lopez will face off against Olynyk in Boston, look for Lopez continue his trend of scoring in double digits as he done that over the last 3 games. Ro-Lo is averaging 12 points and 6 rebounds in the month of January so he is trending upward, making him a cost effective play. I'm really only looking at these two guys when it comes to center tonight.
